Audio Books and Lectures:
Blackstone Audio Books	Blackstone sells many unabridged audiobooks that may be of interest to Core Knowledge supporters and teachers, including two books by E. D. Hirsch. The book that started the Core Knowledge movement, Cultural Literacy, is available on seven 90-minute cassettes. It can be purchased for $49.95 or rented for 30 days for $11.95. Hirsch’s The Schools We Need is also available ($62.95 purchase, $12.95 rental). Blackstone carries almost 2,000 titles, with strong holdings in history, biography, classic literature, religion, and politics, and more than a hundred titles for young listeners.
Books on Tape	Books on Tape has an even larger collection than Blackstone -- more than 5,500 titles in all, including biographies, historical works, and fiction, titles in the Core Knowledge Sequence such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit, Charlotte’s Web, Alice in Wonderland, Pollyanna, Little Women, Treasure Island, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, along with 22 Newberry Prize winners and all the Harry Potter books.
